"Exercise Prescription for Chemo-induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN) and Cancer Related Fatigue (CRF): Evidence-Based Guidelines for Oncology Rehabilitation"

Wednesday, December 03, 2025: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) are amongst the most common and debilitating side effects experienced by patients undergoing cancer treatment. Both overprescription and underprescription of exercise can negatively impact recovery, functional outcomes, and quality of life.

This intermediate-level course equips oncology rehabilitation therapists with clinical knowledge and practical skills to define, assess, and treat patients presenting with CIPN and CRF using safe and effective exercise prescription strategies. Participants will learn to apply evidence-based exercise parameters (mode, intensity, frequency, duration) across the cancer care continuum—from diagnosis and treatment and into survivorship.

The course is based on current research and clinical guidelines and emphasizes rehabilitation planning to optimize recovery and minimize long-term debilitative side effects.

Approved PT/PTA CEH's: 2.4

CEH's will be earned following the viewing of the presentation and subsequent submission of an evaluation form.

*This event is exclusively virtual*
